🎬 SUCHEN: Production Assistant Intern (Documentary Film)
About the Project:
We're producing a poetic, independent documentary about Berlin’s iconic Renate club — a cinematic farewell to a space that embodied freedom, chaos, and community. The film merges avant-garde visuals, immersive soundscapes, and over 40 voice interviews to create an emotional, non-traditional experience.
Your Role:
As a Production Assistant Intern, you’ll support the creative team with:
– Assisting with shoot preparation and set logistics
– Helping coordinate schedules and communication
– Supporting camera, sound, or production departments on site
– Handling general errands and organizational tasks
– Contacting archive material holders (for footage, photos, etc.)

Important Note:
This is a completely self-financed indie production with no external budget. Unfortunately, we cannot offer payment at this stage — but we can provide real creative experience, a supportive team, and an official certificate.
Requirements:
– Motivated and reliable
– Interested in film, culture, or creative production
– Affinity for document management, organization, and workflow tools (Google Drive, spreadsheets, task lists)
– Open to learning and contributing
– Berlin-based preferred (on-site support during shoots)
– A driver’s license is a plus
– Strong communication skills in both English and German
