About Me
I am a filmmaker and poet shaped by the weight of silence and the fire
of rebellion. Growing up in Tehran, I learned to navigate systems that
tried to define me—and I refused to let them. I carry those battles with
me, and they’ve become the force that drives me.
I exist between worlds: East and West, exile and home, tradition and
reinvention. These contradictions don’t confuse me; they guide me.
They run through the blood of my art, pushing me out of my comfort
zone to reflect on the world around me, amplifying unheard voices and
challenging conventions.
I am not someone who has “arrived,” but rather someone who is always
striving. This journey is both my process and my destination.
