About Me
Kaavya Suresh is a Berlin-based editor, gaffer, and DoP still learning the craft of telling other people's stories with care. After seven years working across journalism and documentary archives in India, she is now completing her M.A. in Film, Television & Digital Media at SRH Berlin. In the past year, she has worked on over 15 short films and one feature as an editor, assistant cameraperson, gaffer and DoP. She is currently completing her thesis on outsiderhood in realist cinema, which feeds into her latest short film, Zwischenraum, about two migrant women in Berlin whose friendship is undone by structural precarity rather than personal betrayal.
