Über mich
32J, Französin und Österreicherin, Producerin und Studentin im 7. Sem. an der ifs (internationale filmschule Köln) im Fach Creative Producing.
"Leyla Roy is a french-austrian filmmaker. She was born in Paris, grew up in Vienna and travelled around the world before coming to Cologne where she did her bachelor at the international filmschool köln, in Germany.
Her filmculture is marked by the french nouvelle vague, the scandinavian dramas and the aesthetics of Almodovar’s films. Besides writing she has produced several short films and 1 feature film. All films are treating social-critical themes and are dealing with psychological issues, she would like to keep this focus also as a filmmaker when realizing her own films."
