Hey everyone,
we are a film crew from the Berlin University of the Arts (narrative film class) and are looking for a 💥 SFX MAKEUP ARTIST 💥 for our short film “Guck mich an” (Look at me) by Julia Roliz.
Logline: Growing up in symbiosis under the love of a mother, teenagers discover a power that challenges the boundaries of their protected world.
What we need:
There are several scenes with physical transformation and intensity, including:
– a glass accident and a knife cut (small bleeding wounds)
– a burned hand with realistic blister effects
– a skin rash that becomes a scratch wound
– blood-in-mouth effects (after sucking/biting)
– bite marks and scratches during a group “animal play” scene
All material costs will of course be fully covered!
The shooting period is from November 12–21 (5 shooting days) in Berlin.
Since we are all doing this as part of our studies, it is unfortunately a no-budget project.
