Casting call / Producer (m/f/d) wanted – documentary film
We are looking for a producer – beginners with motivation are also very welcome – to support us in marketing and evaluating our almost completed 70-minute documentary.
The documentary deals with the healthy development of children, how disorders can be detected early, and how to counteract them.
Responsibilities
Depending on experience and interest, including:
• Submission to national and international film festivals
(researching suitable festivals & submission)
• Submission to production companies/broadcasters
• Setting up a crowdfunding website
• Developing a marketing and release strategy
• Collaborating on the website and social media
• Pre-production for part 2 of the documentary
• Funding applications for part 2
• Creating production breakdowns and budgets
What we are looking for
• Motivation, initiative, and openness
• Interest in documentary film, society, and education
• Structured approach to work (perfection not required)
• Willingness to take on responsibility and grow with the project
General conditions
• Start: immediately
• Duration: approx. 2–3 months
(long-term welcome if suitable for both parties)
• Scope of work: approx. 30–40 hours per month
(may vary depending on the phase)
• Location: Vienna & surrounding area
• Salary: based on experience and skills
