- CASTING CALL -
The team of "THROUGH THE SENSES" (provisional title) is looking for ACTORS and ACTRESSES BASED IN BERLIN for our experimental, no-budget debut feature.
AGE PROFILE: 25-35 years old;
LANGUAGE: ENGLISH.
ABOUT THE PROJECT:
• It's an experimental CONVERSATION film, inspired by the works of Éric Rohmer, Hong Sang-soo, Richard Linklater, and others.
• The FIVE CHARACTERS will be based on the ACTORS/ACTRESSES chosen for the roles, and the script will be finalized during IMPROVISATION SESSIONS (rehearsals) in January;
• The film will be shot in BERLIN during February throughout an experimental process (which will be clarified during the casting audition).
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
• Since a lot of rehearsing will be required, the actors/actresses must be based in BERLIN and be available in January and February;
• The actors/actresses should have a IMPROVISATION EXPERIENCE;
• The actors/actresses should be FLUENT in English. We are prioritizing ACTORS WITH A MIGRATION BACKGROUND, because this is important to the role.
If you're interested, please contact ENDOFILMES@GMAIL.COM with your name, your portfolio and headshot/reel for more information. The casting audition will take place soon.
IMPORTANT: Notions of, or background in directing/writing will be useful.
It's a NO BUDGET PROJECT, and we have a crew who's embracing this experience. ALL THE EARNINGS THE FINAL FILM SHOULD MAKE WILL BE DIVIDED BETWEEN THE CAST and CREW (if necessary, a release with these specifics can be provided).
