Über mich
Axxi Oma is a project by a Ukrainian Berlin-based sound designer and music producer Daryna Degtiarova. Her work focuses on creating multidimensional sonic worlds, with a specialization in horror, fantasy, and science fiction.
Since 2024, she has worked as an on-set recordist on short films including Free Your Yoni (2024, dir. Clara Planelles), A Boy, B Girl, C Man (2026), and Kafka of Kreuzberg (2026, dir. Dan Asenlund). In 2026, she composed her first film score for Bowie: Back in Berlin (dir. Dan Asenlund). Since 2026, Axxi Oma designs horror-focused SFX sound libraries, distributed via platforms including Unity Asset Store and A Sound Effect.
She works with tools such as Ableton Live and iZotope RX. With a background in music production and live electronics, her approach emphasizes detailed automation, experimental sound design, and a balance between field recordings and synthesis, often incorporating her own voice as a sound source.
